Cassie Tragert
Cassie has been a Conservation Agent for the City of Easthampton since 2019. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016 with a degree in Natural Resource Conservation. Recently, Cassie has worked in other towns such as Greenfield and Bernardston before becoming full time in Easthampton. In the past, she has worked for Forest Service, Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation, and non-profits such as the Trustees of Reservation. Working at the municipal level now as a Conservation Agent, she’s found the perfect fit helping residents navigate the Wetlands Protection Act and protecting wetland resources in these communities. As a relatively new agent, she strives to help other new agents gain access to all the great resources that helped her get oriented in this field. Cassie loves to be outside hiking and birding as well as reading comic books and overanalyzing movies at home.
